The history of the brand

Welcome to Justlana , the essential address for craft lovers!

Founded in 2023, the brand emerged from my deep passion for knitting and the desire to create unique and durable pieces for little ones.

It is the result of a passion passed down from generation to generation.

The idea for Justlana took shape when I noticed the lack of knitwear made entirely of merino wool, whether for adults or children. Merino wool, known for its warmth and breathable properties, deserved an important place, especially for our babies who have very delicate skin.

Each piece you find with us is driven by our creativity and our commitment to responsible consumption, passed down from generation to generation.

Thank you for being part of Justlana 's story.

Amélie, Founder of Justlana.

Our values

We are particularly attentive to the choice of our raw materials.

All of our products are hand knitted with 100% merino wool .
Merino wool is renowned for its exceptional softness, lightness and breathability.
These characteristics make it an ideal choice for babies' fragile skin.

The well-being of your children

Contrary to popular belief, merino wool provides excellent thermal regulation, helping little ones stay warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather. No more worries about dressing your little treasure in a little wool on summer evenings!

It has antibacterial properties, thus reducing the risk of skin irritation. It is also hypoallergenic, minimizing potential allergic reactions.

We know that our children grow too quickly, fortunately merino wool is elastic and resistant which makes it an economical choice for their clothes (and for us!)

No need to hesitate anymore, we know, merino wool is the best in its field!

Animal welfare

Animal welfare is a strong value at Justlana.

We choose to only use certified “mulesing-free” merino wool.

Concretely, mulesing involves the removal of parts of sheep's skin without anesthesia, a painful and criticized procedure.

By opting for “mulesing-free” products, you are choosing an ethical approach that bans this practice, ensuring a textile industry that is more respectful of animals. Thanks for them !

Slow fashion

The fashion industry is often characterized by producing quantities of clothing. We throw away and we produce again!

Slow fashion means producing in smaller quantities, using processes that respect people and the environment.

Our products are knitted according to your requests. We take the time to select the right wools, buttons and colors.

Behind every knit there is a person who does your knitting with love! Thinking of the little one who will wear it.

The well-being of your children above all, we want to use wool as natural as possible and avoid adding unnecessary chemical treatments.

This is why we choose to use certified non-superwash wools, thus preserving the natural texture of the fibers and minimizing the risk of allergies while reducing our environmental impact.
